Alpha on Campus is a ministry of Alpha USA. Its mission is to reach college and university students with the good news of Jesus Christ through the use of the Alpha Course.

What is Alpha?
The Alpha Course is a ten-week introduction to the Christian faith. It centers on fifteen talks, weekly small group discussions and a weekend or day away to focus on the person and work of the Holy Spirit.

Alpha had its origins at Holy Trinity Brompton, an Anglican congregation in the heart of London. The course has been run in its present form since 1992. God has blessed Alpha in a powerful way. Today 31,260 courses are running in 154 countries throughout the world. The material for the course has been translated into 61 languages plus braille.

How is Alpha on Campus different?
The Alpha Course for college and university students is run exactly in same way as a traditional Alpha course. However the circumstances facing college students today require some creativity and flexibility in adapting the course to the university context. A manual is available to offer advice and ideas on how to tackle the issues facing college students today.
